Cretacolor Artists' White Chalk Pencils Soft, Set of 3 (Pack of 2) (CH461 51)

I am allergic to graphite so switched to this pencil. I recommend the medium hardness for most drawings. It's just like graphite but without the sheen. So grateful that Cretacolor sells in India! It sharpens to a super sharp point, which is super helpful! This drawing was done on Kraft paper.

I was expecting more creamy like Prisma or Faber-Castel polychromos.. these pencils are slightly harder.Worth the price but doesn't meet my expectations.

Received ahead of time and in good condition so no issues there. Now about the product I'm not too sure how it's supposed to be. As the name says it's dry - too dry. The colour is visible on first few strokes but is too light (almost invisible) in the next strokes. It's water soluble too.Conclusion- Still not sure if it is serving it's purpose

I first discovered this pencil when I bought my first sketching kit from cretacolor in 2014. I didnt like it much then as I had no idea how to use and blend this NERO pencils.But recently when I was out of staedtler 8B and had to do a sketch very urgently, I took this pencil out.Totally blown with what this pencil had to offer me.Yes, your experience changes the way you utilize art supplies to suit your needs.Then I got this pack of 6 pencils. They are smooth and not brittle like steadtler 8B.I usually do all the darker areas such as hair and eyes with this pencil.The sketch I posted above is done with only 2 pencils, pentel 0.5mm drafting pencil (with HB leads) and this Nero medium pencil.The only drawback of this pencil is, needs sharpening frequently.

Bad quality charcoal, was sharpening from the last 20 minutes and each point it's breaking. Got 6 pieces and 2 is gone by just sharpening. please don’t buy this.You may search for “general” brand instead.

I don't know but I found the pencil well only, maybe it's my papers but it doesn't flow well and my paper can't hold the particles well. but you can definitely go with it at the price.

As an industrial student these pencils are amazing. I ordered medium dark and got 6 pencils. One pencil gives you dark and fade lines. They are somewhat smudge proof and also break free. Use a small sharpner not s long point for sharpening. Better alternate to prismacolor

The softness of charcoal, with far less of a mess. I like working in colored pencil, but have discovered that the beauty in needing only a few pencils is being given the ability to draw almost anywhere. For those experiencing a lot of breakage with these pencils, it might be your sharpener. I like the Mobius & Ruppert Brass Pencil Sharpeners, and replace the blades whenever pencils start breaking. A sharp blade helps prevent breakage. For blending, I’ve found one of the best tools is a paint or make-up brush, with a stump for finer details. Paper with some tooth (medium texture), will hold more layers and allow greater depth. You can really do a lot with these 3 pencils, and I’ve been enjoying and using them so often, that I’ve already bought a second set.

Great brand n reliable..

Great set, good distinction of light, medium and dark. I use for sketching and designing the value study.Oil base, excellent for roughly laying sketch on watercolor paper before painting. Soft but lays down dark without hurting paper.Am so impressed, ordered the 5.6 mm in medium and soft for my clutch holder.

This product is outstanding! Very buttery! And they do not break. The core are super thick and durable! Fast shipping! I use these pencils over my steadlers Mars black for more contrast. And wham! Beauty!!
