Sony Cyber-Shot DSCW810 20.1MP Digital Camera

Sony has established their brand many years ago. I have the silver model and I do not think color matters as far as performance goes. This is compact, not large and bulky. Easy to hold and the picture quality is "awesome". I use it for close-up shots for Jewelry sales. The best part for me is the re0-chargeable lithium battery. It lasts quite a long time on the charge and it does not take long to charge it again. I had been reluctant to own a lithium battery, but was spending so much money on batteries. If you are on the fence...I really would recommend this one. It also has "Panoramic" ability as well as "movie" ability. Great little camera.

This is my second Sony Cyber-Shot. It was recommended to me by a tech expert. My last one lasted a decade. It is a high-quality camera that works well.

I attached a few pictures taken outdoors with lots of sunlight. None of the images are in focus. For a "20 MP" camera, I should be able to enlarge the image, instead everything gets fuzzy. Pictures taken indoors are even worse. Fuzzy, slightly out-of-focus and underdeveloped.The only way to turn out adequate images is to photoshop each and every image afterwards.I consider this camera a waste of money. I have a 4MP camera from decades ago that takes better pictures.It has lots of different picture modes, none seem to produce a well-focused image.It was purchased as a 'pass around' camera for a wedding. It failed in that function as illustrated by the third image.Summary - Poor images, wasted moments that can never be recaptured and a waste of money.

Love this little camera to pieces. Use it for my ebay business and it takes phenomenal pictures. I dropped my first one numerous times so it was no surprise to me when it developed issues. Even at a higher price on the original one, I got my $$'s worth and then some. So happy to have found another with this great seller as this model is now discontinued. LOVE PRIME!!!!!

Good price ! Easy to operate ! Small size and light to carry 👍. Videos are blurry sometimes and a little dark 👎 Pictures are not too clear 👎. My old camera, exactly the same Sony, was so much better 👍 I kept it 10 years until I dropped from a second story on a cruise ship 😩😩 And still it was still working, until i couldn’t find any more Memory card for this type of camera!

The Sony Cyber-Shot camera is awesome and takes great pictures. You can even take movies and upload them without a problem to your favorite social media.When using the zoom feature I was pleasantly surprised at how well the pictures came out.When i used the zoom on my previous camera the pictures would always come out distorted and blurry. This camera even has a panorama capabilities, but I have not had the opportunity to use that feature yet, so I cannot honestly tell you how well that feature works. I am very happy with this camera! The best feature about this camera is the fact that it comes with a rechargeable battery so no more worrying about having to buy them. Just plug in the camera the night before using it and you're good. A full charge lasts for up to 350 shots.I DID NOT receive any discount of this product in exchange for my honest unbiased review and I am not affiliated with Sony what so ever.UPDATE: THIS CAMERA WORKED FOR TWO YEARS WITHOUT A PROBLEM, THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN IT JUST STOPPED WORKING. IF YOU WANT A CAMERA THAT WILL LAST, I WOULD SUGGEST BUYING A NIKON OR CANNON. STAY AWAY FROM SONY AS THEY BREAK AND CAN'T BE REPAIRED.

The pictures of this camera are great, the use of the camera not so great. It takes eons for the picture to be taken as you press down on the button. To add to the fun experience, pressing down on the button sometimes does not tell the camera to TAKE the picture, so you have to try again. All the other functions of the camera are great....just awful wait time. I am certain there are faster cameras out there.
