Amazing Product. Worked well. (...don't know if I will buy it again.)
This is my first time using Just Egg vegan egg replacer. It was randomly $5 on Amazon Fresh where usually it's like $8 plus crazy shipping so I took a risk that it might not be in stock when my order shipped and grabbed it.I used it to make a vegan quiche. It worked out so well, the quiche was amazing. Even better than a chickpea quiche. It did take almost an hour to cook through. Added some Daiya provolone to the bottom, a homemade vegan butter crust, and it was phenomenal. If it's this easy to make a quiche I might have them more often. For the first time since I went vegan, it was a homey, spot-on nod to comfort food. Thank you Just Egg, it was a lovely treat.I did not make scrambled eggs with it, so I can't review that part. I did use an extra-large pie tin and the single bottle wasn't enough, if I make it again I will buy two bottles. But that's pricey at the price I did pay, imagine the price it's normally at. And what if you want to make 2 quiches to take to a party or something? I think they need to rethink the pricing on this product.Big Con: If you are vegan and you want to be uber conscientious, note the Just Egg product is made in a factory that produces eggs. It sorta squicked me reading that and I didn't use it right away after I bought it. I had decided to never buy it again, just to be safe ( real eggs really gross me out) but it cooks up so well I still might if the price is the same next time. Anyway if you are super strict vegan keep it in mind.Big Con: Price.Small Con: It didn't really taste like eggs? It handled similarly, and I liked it, but I don't think it tasted like them at all. Next time I cook with it I will add Black "kala" salt, to see if that helps.Small Con: It had an expiration date that was very soon from when I bought it. I mean if you buy real eggs they would go bad first but since it's just mungbeans and stuff I'm surprised it's so perishable.Pro: It works. Yum.Big Pro: It's vegan. I've missed eggs.Tip: Don't buy it to bake with. It's too pricey. You can buy 4 to-go cups of applesauce for a dollar and replace thrice that many eggs in brownie batters and stuff. There are also a million other substitutes, don't use this unless you miss eggs and want something real close.

I LOVE THIS !!!
I absolutely love this vegan egg substitute, but it is always sold out and that is my only issue. I wish the product was more readily available and in stock when I go to the grocery store, I usually end up having to search a few stores for it before I can find it in stock, and the expiration dates usually limit me to only being able to purchase a few at a time so that they do not expire too fast before I can use them. They recently changed the container to a carton that is much easier to open with a pull top instead of the plastic container with the sealed opening under the cap which I love. be prepared to love this product and for it to be out of stock a lot of times when you are looking for it. I usually use the store apps to see if it is in stock before I shop so that I can make sure I go to the right store that has it in stock
