Amazing silver (and gold!!) polish that you have to use to believe.
This product is AMAZING. I have tried a few silver polishes and they are usually OK at best, but the shine goes away in a day or so. I purchased this product specifically because it said that is actually added a protective shield to the metal. I was skeptical, but it was cheap. So in less than a minute of total time, my ring went from dull and tarnished to brilliant shine... I was amazed. It made me sad that it was only a silver polish because I have a gold college ring that I really wanted to shine again. After looking up on forums - it apparently works on gold too... so I thought why not.I cannot tell you how amazing this product worked on my Citadel college ring. The shine is as good as when I got it Senior year of college (quite a few years ago I might add). And the shine has lasted weeks without going away. If it does, I know that I can shine up my ring again in a matter of about a minute, and let that brilliant shine last for a few more weeks (or months... who knows)

This is the best silver polish on the market. Use only 3M Tarni-Shield with make-up pads and q-tips.
This is the best silver polish on the market. It leaves a nice shine, and reduces tarnish.Use only 3M Tarni-Shield with makeup pads and q-tips. Take your time and be very patient. Remove all the silver polish while it is still soft. After it dries it gets very hard to remove. If you are eating off the silver flatware or object after polishing, then it is both important and necessary to wash the silver before using it for food.Do NOT use any of the common silver polish brands available at your local grocery store. They are too abrasive.Do NOT use metal polish (designed to polish chrome, brass or copper) for polishing silver. They are too abrasive and will leave fine scratches.Use only silver polish specifically designed for polishing silver.Harriete BermanBerman Fine Silverwork

Long lasting shine
I like this brand of silver polish the best, and have been buying it online for many years, since it is not easy to find in stores. It applies as a paste, I rub it over the silver object until the tarnish is removed, and then I rinse the paste off with warm water. I then buff dry the silver object to a shine with a soft cloth. Each week, I touch the object up up by dusting it with Haggerty Silver Polish gloves. After about a month, it will need to be re-polished with the Tarni-Shield polish, assuming that the object sits out exposed to the air all of the time (e.g. candlesticks). I do not find that other silver polishes are as effective or last as long. The weekly touch up with the silver polishing gloves is very quick and easy, and not messy at all.

not as good as the hagerty
not as good as the hagerty, but solid. just requires more scrubbing and more effort. best thing to polish silver is the clay from hagerty and then use a wet cloth to spread the polish evenly.

You will not be disappointed!
I inherited some silver items from my grandmother, and most of it was heavily tarnished. Not having any experience with how to try to restore it, I went to google. I read reviews for Tarni-Shield as well as Tarn-X. After reading multiple negative reviews about Tarn-X saying it was not effective and was even causing people to have respiratory issues (!) I decided to go with Tarni-Shield, and boy am I glad that I did. Following the directions, I put some of the product onto a towel and then rubbed it on the item - it was shocking how easily the tarnish came off! Within 10 minutes, I had a large silver serving tray completely restored. There was a minimal smell, but nothing that was an issue. I will definitely look to this product in the future for any tarnish issues, and would recommend it to anyone!

Amazing!
I had originally gotten this for the ring my boyfriend got me because it tarnishes fairly easily. But, I also found my bracelet I had when I was a baby (I'm now 20 so you can only imagine how dark and tarnished it was),I was a little iffy on using it since it's so old it's definitely something I did not want to ruin. So I tested it on a small spot and it took the tarnish off like it was brand new and just starting to tarnish, so I continued to use it on the whole bracelet, and it looks brand new, to the point I don't even remember it being as silver as the polish made it. I'm so happy, I would recommend this to anyone. I will def buy again when I run out!!

Smells horrible yet, works wonderful.
I have a King Silver Flair Trumpet purchased for me in 1987. This Trumpet has been all over the world from London, Fiji, Singapore, Hawaii, Oman even through the Panama Canal however, when I recently moved to Italy first Naples now Sicily there was a new type of tarnish. The mineral content in the air is so dense about once a week my Silver Flair turned gold and nothing worked, so I decided to give Tarni-Shield a try, it smelled horrible yet worked instantly. You really do need all the protective equipment advised and also use it in a well ventilated area. Because of the active volcano here in Sicily I have to use it in tangent with anti tarnish strips. Overall great product, (so far).

Best polish I've used
I've tried several polishes including cloths and baths, but nothing really polished my sterling well nor kept the tarnish from quickly building up again. The Tarni-Shield polish was my last effort to find an affordable, useful way to kept from having to polish my jewelry every week. I am quite glad I did, as it works incredibly well and has lengthened the time between polishings to a month or more. The only downside is how much of a mess I can make if I'm not careful as the polishing liquid pours out of the bottle a bit fast. Other than that, great product.
