Fantastic PSU, especially for the price!
When I first was looking at power supplies I really wanted a fully modular one. This one caught my eye from day one and I eventually narrowed it down to the EVGA Supernova and this one (XFX XTR). I want to make this very clear, I do NOT own the Supernova and cannot compare the two back to back. Both are probably great psu's. However, this one is a fantastic one! Here is a pro/con list:Pro:- Fully Modular- Lots of excess cables (more than the Supernova)- Looks great, great shade of gray, very attractive finish, all metal shell. Fan is very quiet.- Fantastic packaging, foam insulated and a nice box.- Wires are high quality. Though only the MB connector is braided, the others are thicker than most other psu cables I have seen. But there aren't so big that routing them becomes a problem.- All the hardware is included along with a useful manual (unlike most manuals)- 80 plus gold!Cons:- Smelled funny when I first opened it up, this is common with psu's- There was a clear sticker on the top protecting the XFX symbol that was hard to peel off. Just a picky little thing, nothing major. If you are on the fence about this one, get it! In my voltage tests I found that it rarely fluctuates and when it does, it isn't as major high/low voltage. Very high quality components. If you like the look of this one, buy it now. If you think the supernova looks better I still think you should get this one because it is so user friendly and I think the looks will surprise you when you actually have it in person. Fantastic! Hope this instills more confidence in your buying decision.

Great T1, Gold 80+ PSU
First of all, this is an amazing deal for a PSU which is rated tier one, has an 80+ gold rating, is modular, cranks out 750W, and uses all-Japanese caps.Secondly, I have to say I really like the look of this unit. Setting up all the modular cords you need can be somewhat of a pain, but it's definitely worth not having to have extra cables just laying around the case, or alternatively cutting off cables you might have a use for in the future. I've had no problems with this PSU. It runs quiet and cool. I haven't used the hybrid mode just because fan noise doesn't bother me that much, my computer isn't on all that much, and I'd rather keep the system cool to reduce wear and tear rather than letting it get a little warmer and keep the fan off. This definitely has enough hookups to run everything you'll need. 750 is probably overkill (and 1000 definitely is unless you're running something insane), but I like having the overhead, and for this price why not?!

Good PSU- Power Up a xfx hd 7950 correctly and now I have lower power consumption
I bought this PSU to power up a XFX HD7950 after a coolermaster RS 700 Watts failed to do the homework.I liked that is modular, the compatibility with the card and that is more power efficient too.I am paying now like 10 to 15 Kwh less of energy per month.I dont know if someone else have seen the samewhile using this PSU.Until now the only issue I have is when I suspend my computer. After that the system doesnt power up well.Seems to be a voltage trouble with my motherboard (ASrock 880ghx)Apart from that fully recommend it! its a very stable PSU

Gold Certified Is the ONLY way to go !
After installing several power supplies on computers over the past ten years. I finally bought this XFX XTR unit. The unit lives up to all the specifications along with a full supply of modular cables. It runs really quite and all the voltages are right on the mark. I especially like the optional fan switch for Hybrid fan control. The cables all but the Main PCB plug in, are flat and flexible and all black in color. Makes for a nice looking job in the computer case. I am using a Mid size case and the length of all the cables are perfect. The Main Computer cable is modular also and it is the only sheathed cable ( a large one) .I am happy about everything including the packaging with this power supply. Gold Certified and single rail design is the only way to go for 300 to 600 watt power supplies. I would suggest multi rail in wattages above 600 watt.On top of all the above, there is a 20 dollar rebate from the Mfg. So If this is the size you need. I am sure you will be happy with this unit.

I feel tricked and cheated by TigerDirect Store , Inc
I ordered this model XFX PRO 750W Black Edition on Friday, March 14, 2014 for its quality but they sent me the model I got was the XFX XTR 750. The XTR is the replacement for " XFX Pro Black Edition" series and is a quality of substructure. The Pro Black edition is the same platform as Seasonics X series that is listed in Level 1 with the best parts and internal capacitors market power sources . The XTR is based on the same platform as the G series Seasonics a lower performance category but also has good parts , but an accumulator Level 2 , in this case 1> 2 . 're Still both 80 PLUS Gold , but evidence PRO XFX 750W Black Edition is better and is more consistent in general. echo is that I feel tricked and cheated by the shop TigerDirect , Inc. has little serious about what products are advertised and sold another product that the customer did not ask I hope the store amazon monitor these fraudulent sellers give more deceptive offers in fact nobody Scammers will recommend this shop
