works as described, wireless worked well through case however, not high speed. solar panels seem powerful enough, was charging in overcast conditions.

This is the 4th backup battery I've owned - my family members keep stealing them from me! - and it's the one I want to keep for myself. There are no miracles here - it's got a 10,000 mAh LI battery, an approximately 10 square inch solar panel, USB A, micro, and C connectors, a wireless charging pad and a rather bright two-LED flashlight - all packed in a pretty rugged case. Does it charge your phone better or worse than any other portable 10000 mAh battery backup? I doubt it; they all seem approximately the same to me, you'll get about 2 charges of a smartphone before needing to recharge it. The solar panel will help, but at most it will charge the unit 1/4 of the way in a full day of sun. So if you think you can go off-grid and stream media all day, you will be disappointed (not to mention confused as to the meaning of the phrase "off grid"). But when you need it, it's fantastic to have that many features packed into a compact package weighing in under 10oz.

I put this solar power bank on my car dashboard when i park at my company's parking lot so that it can be charged by solar. I get about 50% capacity after about 8 hrs, plenty for me to charge my phone each night. Free electricity for my phone. Kinda cool to have. Also has built in flashlight for emergency uses. I think everyone should get one for their car, might come in handy when their phone runs out of battery in the middle of nowhere.

I bought this charger with the idea of keeping my gadgets “plugged in” while I’m poolside. Turned out to be a GREAT idea - I charge the unit, take it with me (all over, not just the pool) and let my phone e.g. charge wirelessly and my iPad or other items can be plugged in. The charger’s solar panel keeps up and trickle charges the unit and all combined gives me either day long or a good boost anytime, anywhere. Hook it on your backpack and it charges itself while your out and about and it’s always handy. Full disclosure - the solar part is just above a trickle charge and it takes longer to charge the unit just with solar. I would recommend the Qi charger for sure.

I have placed this charger in the sun (direct Florida sun) for 6 days in a row and the battery percentage did not go past 25%. I can however charge it via plug but I purchased this so that I can also charge it via free energy. I have charged my iPhone 11 Pro Max while the phone was at 49% battery left and it used up at least 75% of the charger's battery, I dont know if it would charge my phone 100% if it was completely dead. I think i have a dud here. I hope the seller will be able to replace it or at least swap it out, not very pleased with this product. Although I have a friend with the same exact one and their's works like a champ.Update 7 August - still no word from seller.

I followed the instructions given and fully charged it before taking it out on my hiking trip. The first night of use I plugged my iPhone XS Max with 62% charge to charge overnight. Charging the phone to 100% took up half the battery life. I placed the charger in direct sunlight for 9 hours to refill and made sure that the green indicator was illuminated signaling that the unit was receiving solar power, it didn't work at all. The unit was still at half charge by the end of the day. It seems that there are not enough solar receivers on the unit to properly recharge the unit in a 9 hour period. The flashlight in the unit never worked, but I didn't really care about that. I would say it's terrible, but it's also not worth the money.

this little portable charger is pretty tough, ive had it for about six months and it will charger my iphone from near dead almost 2 full times before needing recharging.I have never tried to use the solar panel to recharge it but I would imagine it would take quite some time as it needs about 5 hours to completely recharge from a 120 volt A/C outlet.The flashlight works well and is a nice added touch, I would say this product is well worth the price.
