I received this glass replacement window yesterday from China. The thin (~1 mm thick) glass window arrived in a small bubblewrap envelope mailer, inside of which was another sealed envelope wrapped in bubblewrap. Inside that was the window, wrapped in protective film which was wrapped inside another layer of closed cell protective foam. Even with my no nail, stubby, sausage-like fingers I had little trouble peeling the film off of the window. The window's OD fit the retaining ring of my Maglite securely with minimal slop. I was able to fully tighten the retaining ring and compress the o-ring to ensure a good seal.Once installed, I could barely even see the window it was so clear! I made the mistake of turning the flashlight (which I had retrofitted with an LED prior) on while staring at the output end. I had spots in my vision for a few minutes! No hazing or scatter could be seen in the window. The original plastic window had seen some wear over its several years of use. I hope this one will fare better as I continue to use this ultra convenient device. My only regret is not ordering two to replace the window in my second Mini!

It seems silly to write a review for a nickel-sized piece of glass, but I was impressed when I started to place it in my AA Maglite (I had lost the original lense - probably became a cat toy). The replacement was delivered in a bubble-pack envelope, encased in a small ziplock pack and both sides of the lens were protected by a thin piece of static cling foam to prevent scratching and finger prints. I felt that showed a lot of effort to insure a quality product for a $5 (free shipping) product. Oh yes, it was a perfect fit for my MagLite!

Nice made 'after-market' replacement lens for the MiniMag [AA Model] - Mine a nearly 25+ years old and truly needed their lens replaced. I have yet to drop-throw-pitch-run over these 'new' lens, but from what I have so far seen, they appear to be fairly well made.I have not noted any distortion or 'hazing' of the light output, nor light loss.For the money, I believe they're pretty decent buy.

Just what he wanted. Nice, clear lens to replace the cracked warped, stained original. He puts his Maglites through rough usage. He is, however, still complaining of the use of shrink wrap. It made opening the small case very difficult for him. I didn't look at the package, but if opening suggestions were made, he didn't read them.

My Maglites go through the worst. I bought two of these for some lights I carried in the deep swamp and at sea on research vessels and rig inspection dive boats. The lenses get distressed after years and years of service. These lenses are sturdy and will resist scratches.

I replaced a couple of the plastic lenses on my Mini Maglites with these, and am happy with the performance. They arrived well packed, fit well, and are a big improvement over the old lenses. If I had more lights, I'd buy more lenses.

My ring doorbell plastic clear cover frosted so bad over the last 4 years I could not see anything. Ordered this lens and it fits perfectly over the camera after I removed the bad clear plastic cover. Now I get crystal clear images.

installed in my minimag without problem. /Great product. Haven't dropped on ground to test, but expect it will be fine when called upon to not break for me.

Very clear lens, made a really noticeable difference to a Maglite torch at least 15 years old and lived in my toolbox for most of its life. Worth the money and easy to fit.
