They are an excellent replacement.
Got this to fix an Xbox controller for a friend. They worked great, the controller feels brand new again.

Great buy
Worked as sould. I put both in one Xbox one controller a few months ago and they're still working fine.

Good value
Worked amazing! No more drift the joysticks are a nice bonus the rubber is definitely not Xbox original quality. The actual module is identical to what was in the Microsoft controller.

Fixes stick drift but...
Had stick drift and click issues. These were pretty tough to install if you aren't experienced with a soldering pencil. They fixed the issue. Only downside is they aren't as precise as the the OEM analog. Meaning you may notice slight differences in the stick movement after replacement. Maybe try replacing the disks under the green covers to see if that fixes the issue without removing the whole component.

Not as good as original replacements
They definitely will work if you need a cheap replacement but they are not nearly as good as an original replacement is

Made the problem worse
Desoldered the original sensor and soldered this one. The soldering jobs is fairly straightforward with some solder braid. However, once the new sensor was installed, the left and right motions would not be registered. Double checked the solder points and they looked clean. Just to be safe, I uninstalled the sensor and started over but got the exact same problem. Save your money and just buy a new controller. These sensors are junk

Good replacement part, hard to install for me
These things are hard to install! You have to be able to desolder all 10 points in a way that allows you to remove it. I had to cut the old one into sections on the board so I could removed it. Then going back in worked but not so well. Mind you, it’s 100% my fault, this part worked awesome! But get yourself a solder sucker if your doing this on your own.

They work
Look. Soldering isn't the easiest thing to do. But if you are willing to try and learn or you are already good at it. You can fix your controllers drift issue. I purchased these just to see what would happen with a broken scuf controller. If you know games you know scuf controller are not cheap. So replacing was possible but not preferred. I opened it up and removed the bad one, soldered on the new one put it back together and BOOM it worked. Saved 250 dollars easily. I'm glad I did it. And will probably do it again on any controller we have that goes bad with drift issues.
