Wow!This is the best product so far. After rigorous tennis, I apply it to my full legs and thighs. It works wonders.

This massage oil is a bit shocking at first with it's very powerful aroma. It's not a bad smell by any means, but the first time I gave my wife a massage with this, I sort of had the thought in the back of my head that it smelled like I was preparing some kind of exotic food rather than giving a massage. The oil is somewhat reddish and really does have a strong smell. It is kind of like a mix between typical massage-friendly oils and Worcestershire sauce. If that sounds a little weird, I guess it is. However, I got this because my wife has some trouble sleeping and I figured a massage here and there would help her. She can attest to the fact that it has. She will ask for even a five minute massage in the evening just to help her get sleepier, and she says that with the strange but pleasant aroma of this oil, she feels calmed and better prepared for bed. I can't necessarily say whether it's the ingredients here or the massage itself, but it's nice that it has worked. First just know that the expiration and batch info are on the shrink-wrapped plastic wrap so if you need that info save it or at least snap a pic of it. The info can not be found on the box or bottle itself. I love that it is clearly marked Vegan as that is important to me. I thought the scent might be very strong and spicy but it is really just a bit medicinal. Actually, the scent brings me back to my childhood as my grandparents used something that smelled similar to this as a rub for aches and pains. Wow – it really brought me back to my childhood. : ) I can’t really tell you wat it smells like otherwise – sort of sweet – sort of vaporizing menthol-like – sort of medicinal – but nothing too strong, actually, or noxious.As for the warming aspect – I noticed no such feeling -but that is fine. As for the pain relief – I actually applied it to my feet this morning as they got quite a workout yesterday. It worked OK for that I suppose as my feet felt better with less tightness and tension. I am not sure how it can handle true pain, though – but we will see in the future. As for the massage aspect – it isn’t very oily in that regard. I mean I was able to rub it and work it into my feet. But it absorbed pretty well and didn’t leave my feet oily or anything. If you are looking for true slipperiness in your massage – you will either need a whole lot of it – or something else. As you may be able to tell from my pictures, the bottle this massage oil came in was damaged upon arrival. I was sad about that. This being said, I enjoy this massage oil so much that it still doesn't deserve anything less than 5 stars. Let's talk about the effect it has on pain. I have used massage oils in the past that have made great claims to reduce the pain but, at least in my experience, they really haven't been very effective. This massage oil is a completely different story and it actually works.I struggle with inflammatory issues due to an auto immune issue and because of this I suffer with aches and pains throughout my body. This brand makes the claims of reducing inflammation. While I do not know if this truly reduces inflammation I can say that this helps reduce the pain greatly in my back when my husband massages it into my skin and bones. I notice the reduction right away. It also helps to ease the tension in my muscles and they feel a lot loose after the massage. It tingles the skin just a tad but not in a painful or overwhelming way. It is warming to the skin like the product description describes but it isn't uncomfortable for highly noticeable. I also think the packaging is cute and because of this I believe it would make an excellent gift idea. There is a cute little golden wax seal on the box that you have to break in order to open it.

First of all, the package is well designed with the candle seal. Very informative instruction on how to use and what is the ingredients as well as the bio history of the founder. The bottle is made from thick plastic and the pump is easy to pump with the lock to avoid leaking.The texture of the oil is more liquid than the thick oil. Color is dark brown color in the attached picture, more like brown orangish. The scent reminds me of the holistic ancient medicines with all the herbs and spices. The oil is easy to spread on the skin and not slippery.Even it says this is for warm and pain relief massage, it takes at least 5 to 7 minutes to really feel the heat after applying. Not really sure about pain relief function because I did feel my skin warmed up only, but not relieve any discomfort.Overall this is a very good massage oil because of all its plant-based ingredients. It will help to relax the body but not really works like muscle rubs. It can be a good gift too.

The black sesame message oil is made in India and it is made from different herbs and nature ingredients. The massage oil is like IcyHot and tiger balm based on my experience. Don’t rub it to places you don’t want to feel the heat. It will give a tingling sensation at first and then it will be cool, then stay heat up for a while. It is long lasting too, so don’t use too much at a time. I used it for my tendinitis at my elbow and it worked extremely well. It eased the pain due to the icy feeling and I felt my blood circulation increase due to the heating sensation. If I had used it as an intimate massage oil, I would have been in big trouble. The things I dislike are the fragrance and its color. It has some unique herbal smell to it that I am not a fan of, luckily it wasn’t too strong. It isn’t pleasant to look at either because the oil has some scary red hue under the light. Nevertheless, it works very well for my elbow pain and it seems to help my tendinitis greatly. I will continue using it regardless of its downsides.
