PAXCESS Suction Side Pool Cleaner Vacuum, Climb Wall Cleaning with 16pcs 24in Hoses, Suction Sweeper, Ideal for Inground Pools with Pump, Low Noise

I bought this product a year ago and it has already stopped working twice even after replacing the motor. I run it about 1x per month because my pool is covered. I used it probably 4 times before it stopped working. Paxcess was great about sending a replacement motor that I had to install myself. It wasn't difficult to install and they sent a video. After replacing the motor the machine worked perfectly for about 4 more pool cleanings then today it wouldn't move. It powers up but nothing, no fan turning, no machine moving around the pool. I have submitted another email to customer service but no one is there on the weekends so I am awaiting a reply come Monday. At this point I would say don't wasted your money. Although it works great when it runs, it doesn't last. There is a 2 year warranty but what good is it if it keeps breaking after 4 uses.

When functioning, this cleaner works pretty well. It misses a few spots but does a pretty good job overall. The problem is that the belts only last about 2 months, then they break. If you research close enough, you will find this is a common problem with this robot. (They seem to make an identical product under the company name AIPER, which has the same belt issues). Customer service is quick to send you the directions for replacing the belt and also a belt, but the whole process takes a week or two without cleaning your pool. The replacement belts are also defective, of course. The belts seem to last about 2 months. I have had 2 break in the 4 months that i have used this product. I use it daily. Customer service is good at first, but i feel these units should last at least 2 years. I first asked if they have upgraded the belts - the lied and said yes. Next, I asked for 12 belts to get me thru 2 years, they started explaining how they were on the verge of bankruptcy and they wanted me to pay $30. Then when I asked to return the defective unit for a refund, they have simply ignored my emails and are not getting back to me. So now i have a $600 paperweight. They do sell the defective belt replacements for $15 on amazon now, but it will take 2 weeks to get and for $600, we shouldn't have to be buying new replacement belts every 2 months. So stay away!

So far so good. Everything as advertised. Very happy with the purchase. Picking up bigger and finer particles and debris.Update..it’s been about a month and I LOVE this thing! Wish we had bought it last year. So easy. Saves so much time. I can’t tell you how many hours my husband spent in the pool cleaning with the manual ones that have the hose attached and are such a pain. This beauty is my favorite toy lol. We do have an intex 32x16 above ground and the corners are a bit awkward. It’s no fault of the vacuums but where the corner seams are and it can’t get 100% it leaves a tiny bit of dirt. But everywhere else is wonderful. Goes up the walls great. I love getting in after it’s cleaned. I didn’t know the bottom was supposed to feel like that! I am going to get a handheld to get the last little tiny bits it can reach. But that’s no biggie to me. I can’t expect it to get where it’s shape won’t let it. I feel it would work better if the corners were squared off.

Our pool is surrounded by trees that shed so dealing with that all summer made me dread pool season. I was concerned this little dude wouldn’t be able to handle it, but wow, wow, wow! I have a15,000 gallon pool and put this thing in right after we opened our pool. I had opened the pool about a week before so it wasn’ttoo bad but all the scrubbing with the pool brush when you open, ugh. I was not expecting it to do as much as it did. The walls pool are completely algae free. I mean white! Never have I been able to accomplish with the pool brush what this thing did! It’s fun to watch too. I have an irregular shaped pool kind of hour glass shape with a submerged bench seat on one end and then the stairs on the other end, stairs are rounded. I was concerned it would get stuck or not figure out the stairs but it got up them and to the water line. I really am amazed at this thing. The brushes that skin are actually like big neoprene sponges which I think helps it suction to the wall. It climbs right up the wall no problem. Literally out of the box and into the water. Make sure you don’t turn it on until it’s completely submerged. Note: if you have sweet gum trees and have those stupid prickly balls that fall in the pool or any big leaves (magnolias) check the filter often, there are too fat to fit in the suction hole and will cause The vacuum to not suction to the wall properly, you’ll know because it acts like it’s going to climb over the edge of the pool. It’s only heavy right when you pick it up out of the pool but East to lift after you let water drain out. I have a salt water pool so I remove the filter baskets and house the entire thing out after every use. I’m cheap and I want things thing to last. So far I’m so so so happy I found this thing! My son has named it Diggy. BUY THIS YOU WILL BE SO GLAD YOU DID!!

We needed a new pool vacuum as our old one lasted 3 years and died. We chose this Paxcess. The good: Easy to clean. Did a great job cleaning our pool. It was so much better than our old vacuum. It was used for approximately 2 months and one day when I pulled it out of the pool one of the belts was broken. It was the thinner of the belts. I come on Amazon to order new belts and read all the reviews of the same thing happening to others who purchased this item. Same thing - belts broke after about 2 months. Ok, so that's not good. Go to order the belts - long shipping time. Notice the large belts were not available and not many of the small belts. We were going to order extras to have, because you NEED to have the pool vacuum running and can't wait weeks for something to be delivered. So what happens when we need the large belt? Things seem pretty suspect. Still waiting for the small belts. Hopefully this won't be one of those I wasted money on this item. It could've been perfect - wishful thinking. Maybe stick with a more "name brand" vacuum?
