Powecom 10-Pack KN95 Face Mask (Appendix A Authorized Respirator), Protective Face Mask, Disposable Particulate Respirator, GB2626-2006 (10-Count)

I have a immune disorder and my mother has COPD and even though we've both been inoculated, nothing is guaranteed and I am not going to put either our our lives at risk on a quick quality control check through with the EPA/CDC approvals. So before purchasing these, I did the checks on Powecom's site and the EPA site for approvals to guarantee that these would be approved with both high and low flow rates. When I received these today, you can imagine how shocked I was to receive masks that look almost nothing like what are posted on either the Amazon site or the Manufacturer's Powecom page. The markings are wrong, the seams are wrong; Sure they had a sticker stuck to the bag and but not on a sealing point, and lets face it, anyone can pick stickers from bags and put them on some other ones and say voila'! And last but not least, these aren't individually wrapped, leaving the exposed masks open to outside exposure. I am NOT happy!

These are counterfeit, BTW. Each KN95 from Powecom should come with an anti-counterfeit label that can be verified for authenticity via the brand's website. There's a whole NYT article about these counterfeits. Do your research, save your money. Buy from trusted sources

This mask must be worn for about 45 minutes to an hour before it fits well enough over the nose and under the eyes to make a tight enough fit. I’ve worn them for 12 hour shifts and they perform well. To pass the fit test with this mask I consistently require a prolonged period of time for the mask to relax.The new material smell of the first mask is greatly diminished now that the package has been open for several days.I like that the shape keeps the material suspended from my lips.The 3M and Kimberly Clark I also use at work have more difficult straps and fit just as tightly though the 3M fits best immediately and diminishes over my shiftThis KN95 and the Kimberly Clark take time to fit well over the nose and under eyes KN95 fits well the rest of the shift. Kimberly develops fuzzy threads that tickle my nose after a few hours.Overall I prefer the KN95 if I have the time to allow a fresh one to relax and fit air tight. 3M if I have to get a good fit immediately and for a short time.

So I have used this mask the past few days while shopping. I have been using a lot of thin fabric masks and have not felt protected. If I wanted to be really safe I would shave my beard but that’s not gonna happen. This mask has given me a little more comfort shopping around town. Mask fits well around the face for a larger man. The loops around the ears are a little tight but I was able to stretch them a good amount and found a comfortable fit. My wife is a nurse and she felt like these were just as good as a N95 mask she uses in the hospital. Great product!

Too many of these Chinese KN95 masks failed NIOSH testing miserably. I would not personally trust my health and well-being to one

I’ve worn a lot of disposable and reusable fabric masks over the past few months. Living in California during the wildfires, I started to invest more into the N95 to filter out the Smokey air.This one is my favorite disposable one with the most comfortable straps ever. Plus the N95 is perfect to filter out bad air.Pros:*comfortable*lightweight*straps are super stretchy and soft and easy to put on*N95 filters the Smokey air (air quality 135 when I wore this outside)*more stylish that some of the other N95 masks out thereCons:*the adjustable bridge took some getting used to. At first, every exhale escaped my mask and tickled my eye lashes. After playing around with the mask bridge, it hugged my nose closely and molded perfectly.I will be purchasing this again to wear when air quality is over 120.

These are really nice masks. They fit well - feel snug against my face. The ear loops are soft. The nose wire is easy to adjust so my glasses don’t blur. I feel safer wearing this type of mask then a cloth one or the flimsy surgical style masks. I’m glad to have these for when I have to go places that may have lots of people or difficult to be distanced.Update. I actually ordered a second package of these masks because I have a medical procedure coming up and I want to make sure I have them available so I feel safe. I’ve given a couple to friends who needed an extra level of safety to travel and for the doctor recently too. These are a great option for peace of mind and safety.

The mask is useless because it is too tight around the ears, and I had to remove it within 5 minutes! I am a petite woman with a small face so I don't see how anyone could tolerate this mask!The mask itself seems great, so it is unfortunate that they made the ear loops too tight! For that reason I am returning them, minus the one I tried on, and hoping for a refund.
