I ordered 2 size up of my regular size. It fits great on my upper body but not sit quite well on my hips, overall it looks very gorgeous and I’m very happy about the quality , and I also just realized that the skirt is open on the front not on the side.I ordered Large size, I am 5’7” and 130 lbs.

I bought two of the same style for my two girls but of two different colors - one is maroon and one is blue. I was worried the sizing will be off based on various Amazon reviews. I did order the sizing based upon the review - get the size based upon the widest measurement and they both work out great and the fit are perfect on both of them. The same approach works for big chest girls as well - one is with more than cup D on the sizingThe fabric are of good quality, not thin. I especially like the design - it is demure and elegant. Most of the chi pao design on the market today are short length with high side cut that will show off thighs while sitting. All in all - a great buy. The girls can wear them on various events on/off campus.

According to the size guide, I would wear a 12 (see dress pictured size guide) . However, the waist was snug and I can't button the toggle closure in the hip area, if I want to walk. The hip area is very tight. The toggles and the toggle openings are extremely small and it takes work to open and close the tiny toggles. The dress side opening is cut with a S-curve design, thus it could easily exposed the stomach area when sitting. A snap sewn in the area is a possible fix. I should have sent it back for a size 14 but no 14 was available. I wanted to wear the dress for a special occasion, so I made some alterations and planned to wear a girdle. The material is beautiful. Geez, what we women do to look good!!! Size up and enjoy.(FYI- missed the event due to illness but will keep for the future, since it is so pretty and may be harder to find this type of dress in the future.)

Loved this dress. The buttons are from top to bottom and the curves fit perfectly to the body enhancing the bust while snatching the waist line. If they produce the same dress in another pattern, will definitely purchase more.

Too small in the chest, buttons are placed awkwardly. Not stretchy at all which is how traditional chipaos are but the cut is not flattering. Beautiful fabric. Only hemmed once with visible raw edges which will fray quickly.

I’m actually usually a size 10 (or 30”) in pants, dresses, etc. I ordered an 8 originally on accident cause I was doing the size chart wrong and for some reason thought an 8 was my size. So I ordered an additional dress in a 10. When they both got there, to my surprise after reading all the reviews telling people to size up, the 10 was somewhat big in areas. I wanted it to fit more like a glove. So I tried the 8 on and it was much better. The boob area is small. If you’re super busty, this dress might bulge at the claps— not a good look. The hip area stuck out a bit oddly because of the way it creased from being folded, and I gently ironed the sides down so that it fit against my body better. Got compliments all night. Beautifully made but a bit flimsy, treat it with care and you should be fine!

Gorgeous color, fabric, quality and design. Available when I needed it. I followed other reviews and ordered according to my largest measurement on the size chart and got a great fit. I’m an American size 10 and got the Asian XXL. I love it 💕

The media could not be loaded. The dress is so beautiful. I ordered it for my bday dinner but it's way too small. I'm 5'4 138lbs, wear a size 4, but some 6 can fit me due to my mid/lower section. I ordered this in a 6 since everyone said size up, but I needed to have sized up more than one size. Size up more than one size if you're thicker at the bottom or mid range.
