Superb intense colours and format. My kids love to use them with a waterbrush to paint with. The white colour is a bit pointless for white paper. Also cones with a sponge strip (now lost/misplaced) which we couldn’t quite figured out what its use is for.

Great vivid colors. Soft enough to draw with before getting them wet. When wet as I handle them, a lot of pigment tends to get on my hands. In a way, thats fun, childisly. Serious, great light blue brique. I will buy these again, if not just for that light blue. I've been working with them on Chinese rosewood bark paper (anyone else ever heard of it?) with bamboo pen and India ink to create lines. The blunt square shapes of the briques are a unique pleasure to draw and paint with.

Aqua Briques are ver versatile. They can be used to color as a solid block with or watercolor. I like to that they are easy to carry and less messy that tubes of watercolor. The colors are vivid. I have not had them long enough to test how lightfast they are. I have had good luck with other Cretacolor products in the past. This is a small compact set in a nice metal case that protects them. They should not be exposed to extreme heat as they will melt.

Deep, rich colors. I use these wet right in the case for pastel underpaintings. The inside lid can be used as a mixing area, though I mostly just mix right on the briques. The white brique mixed with the red or blue briques, or both, gives lovely tints of pink, blue, and lavendar for the sky. The compact size is perfect for travel or studio. Love!

Great for abstract painter

Die Aqua Brique Farbblöcke sind gute Aquarellfarben in größeren Blöcken, also nicht in den sonst üblichen kleineren "Näpfen".Man hat dadurch besseren und direkteren Zugriff auf die Farbe, was einladend ist. Ob es Nachteile gibt, wenn der Farbblock kleiner wird, weiß ich noch nicht.Mir gefallen die Briques sehr gut!
