I purchased the glass for the broken side view mirror on my Avalanche truck. The fit was perfect. I pried loose the old mirror and adhered the new glass right on top of the old broken glass and reinstalled it.

Really easy to apply.

2002 Avalanche with the turn signals in the mirror. This piece fit perfect. My mirror has the black plastic trim around the mirror and this item just dropped right in, nice. I used Permatex Black Ultra sealant on the back and only around the edge, keeps water out. I didn't use the supplied double sided tape, would work in a pinch. But wanted to seal this mirror to the old one without water getting behind this.Pressed on to my messed up mirror, looks great. Would for sure buy again if needed for the pass. side. Oh, and it's made of glass, no distortion. Perfect.

Had a cracked and faded mirror on a 2500 chevy Silverado worked great fast no tools needed

So this install is difficult.First you gotta take the plastic frame around it. Its pinch latched and if not careful they will snap off. (mine didn't).second the glass top layer on mine had water and some kinda oil fill the glass and it started draining. I removed it. The mirror underneath was fine. I could have left it like that. But broke it trying to remove it so can reattach the heated strips and seal.The heated strip and seal doesnt come off the old mirror. The plastic base plate is open to the elements with the signal lights being covered with the seal and a clear/old fogged over film. After breaking that out i removed the heater strips and black seal it's embedded in.I used the two sided stickers in random spots to affix the new mirror with blinker and equal edge distance. Replaced the plastic retaining edge that snapped toghter.So the exterior layer of protective glass isnt included. My guess is washing and cleaning this mirror will eventually. Scratch it. Or ..damage the signal due to now seal replacement. Already lost the heat strips.Pros: clean good fit.Cons: doesnt come with protective glass outer.Doesnt come with heat strips so it doesnt plug right in. If it did. I would be much happier. I now have a temporarily installed mirror thats most likly going to need to be replaced with an oem refurb or dealer stock when the blinker dies from exposure.Being a 2005, southern state(no ice) it may be fine for life of car

When my driver side mirror broke all I could see was dollar signs for another auto repair. Then I found this product. I can't believe this simple design. It looks like I have a brand new side mirror and it was less than $13. So simple to install. Do an initial dry test fit. Then just clean the old broken mirror. Attach the thin adhesive pads. Line up the new mirror and press on. I applied light pressure over night with rubber bands and a rubber ball just as an added measure. Works perfectly!!

A lot easier to see and my 2004 Silverado appreciates the new mirror.

Wanted to wait a while before I wrote a review. So far so good. Only used the adhesive circles included with the mirror and its stuck on pretty well. Dont see it coming off any time soon. Wish the double sided tape was a little thinner but it holds. Glass is clear with little to no distortion. Holes for the turn signal lined up correctly. Only issue is the added weight tends to make the mirror bounce around some which it didnt so prior to installation. Being summer I cant say whether or not the heated mirror still works. Only thing it doesnt do is auto dim which is fine. Over all a very cheap yet effective repair!

Only took a few minutes to stick it on and it looks like nee.
