Hal Leonard Songs of the 1970s: The New Decade Series with Online Play-Along Backing Tracks

I love, love, love this book! You can even slow down the tempo of the backing tracks while you are learning the songs! So darn fun! The backing tracks sound fantastic too!

Heavy book with many song choices. I bought the piano, vocal and guitar edition ( intermediate level). Great value. Because of the weight, part of the book was outside the flimsy Amazon ‘wrap-around’ packaging and the book cover had to be cleaned with anti-bacterial wipes.

Personally, it will be better to show sample of music sheet on sales' page so that buyer know exactly what they should expect the book look like before they place their purchase order. Also if possible, list out the songs come with it, so make thing easier for buyer to decide to buy or not.Although the musical notes comes with the book may not be "original" as written by the original composers, but personally I think most songs' sheets arranged in this book are OK for intermediate piano learners.A lot of songs come with it are popular in the years of 1970. The book is quite thick, it does have problem to put on piano's or guitar's stand, it will be better to "break into" several volumes to reduce the overall thickness.By the way, this book also comes with "Online Play-Along Backing Tracks" and is downloadable, personally, it will be better if the "Backing Tracks" can be toggled on/off on certain instrument played during practice, like "guitar", "bass", hopefully the next edited "Backing Tracks" are included with such features to make learning more fun. Overall, this book is acceptable.
