Zachary's Ball Anniversary Edition (Tavares baseball books)

Matt Tavares baseball books are all terrific. They have great illustrations, heart tugs, and the plot twist with a little magic (?) woven in, make them a great read-aloud for teachers, and enjoyable for all ages - even adults, even adults who aren't much sports fans!

I have bought so many copies of this book to give as gifts to teachers, and kids. I love the story, it bring chills to me everytime I read it. Baseball is such a wonderful sport and the words and pictures in this book just help to illustrate that magical feeling to the kids. Definately need to buy for any kids 3-10 years old that like to watch or play baseball.

I’ve read this book probably 100 times with my boys. A classic for any Red Sox family.
