For the TRUE Disney fan only. Quite interesting how the original drawings are replicated in the parks.

First I have given this book an extra star because I like Disney Parks! I found quite a lot of the maps to be too small, in fact some of the text was so small that even with a magnifying lens it was unreadable. The close up pictures focused on certain areas of the park and a lot of stuff was missed. I would like to have seen more maps from over the years giving a better picture of the evolution of the parks over time, showing more eateries and shops too. I think it would have been better to have released a 'Disney Park Map Collection' and included a smaller book.

This book is absolutely gorgeous and makes the perfect gift for the true, old-school Disney-fan. Not only is it full of gorgeous illustrations and park maps that even a park-map expert had never before seen, there is a wealth of information about the evolution of the park plans, as well. If you know someone who loves Disney, loves park maps, and loves to learn everything there is to know about these subjects, please buy this for them. While this book may be niche, if you know someone who you know will appreciate it, the joy of seeing them open this book and discover what’s inside is absolutely unmatched. 10/10

Wonderful colourful luxury illustrated with amazing maps of Disneyland, Disneyworld, Euro Disneyland, Tokio Disneyland and any other original Magic Kingdom’s clones . Amazing how all the detailed planning maps shows different versions of the yet to be built happiest place on Earth , included are awe inspiring imagineers plans for attractions never built (it would have been great to see more of them- Switzerland/Matterhorn themed area in Epcot’s World Showcase , or the fabled , no luck for Europeans , planned addiction of Matterhorn and Alice in wonderland dark rides in Disneyland Paris .. or the other unseen project for a SnowWhite Castle .. )and also some maps of single attractions ( Heartbreaking they didn’t include the pretty maps of Storybookland and It’s a small world ) it would have been great to add a poster of the beautiful comic style Disneyland map (the one with a Victorian frame with characters cameos all around it ,the Disneyland logo (that’s probably my favourite map style, still remember how excited I was when I found it a centrefold in The Italian Mickey Mouse weekly magazine (Topolino) map of 1979 and in another issue the 1987 version. It was the first time I saw a Disneyland map and had spent ages daydreaming about how Disneyland shall look - my idea of the actual amusement park was based only on the few pictures that were shown in the 80’s as intro to the weekly Disney film tv program , not much more to dream on apart your own fantasy ... Absolutely glad I bought this book and already spent pleasure hours in the afternoon reading and just contemplate the illustrations with a cup of tea .

Mon fils fan des parcs rêvait de l avoir...et il n est vraiment pas déçu. Il est en anglais donc faut pouvoir le lire mais sinon il est vraiment très intéressant pour les fans
