This is another one in the storey's series that has some excellent information. There were a couple suggestions that I had not tried or used in several years. It is a good place to start but additional experience with herbs would be wise. This is not the end all, but only a beginning. It was a replace copy - I seem to give this away a lot.

A interesting book which has a lot of good information for the average family and will help you save money.I turn to it oftan.

wow, who knew that mustard could replace costly emergency room visits, and I didn't need that horse-powered painkiller for my monthly cramps. storey has given us healthy, affordable, working methods of healing and treatment that we utilize easily for our family and friends. It basicly changed our life and how we go about treating our bodies. A must have !!

While it does consist of a beginning, middle and end, and is constructed of a cover with a title and authors name printed on it with pages inside with information written on them to convey a message it..... well, I guess it is just another book.

I just love these books simple instructions and a good reference it you want to use natural remedies

Lots of great information if you are interested in herbal remedies. I am sure I will refer to this again and again.

Great book and now how, I like to use this for when I go camping and hunting my be a great addition to the first aid kit

Base for cream : “At your drugstore, buy a cream base that is hypoallergenic.”Ointments : “… melt unscented petroleum jelly…”Title is misleading, I was expecting health “remedies” but those were only 8 out of 30 pages.It’s a interesting book, just not what I expected.

The recipes are ok, but based on using existing products...examples: to make soap you use bar soap and “herbal tea” mixed together, formed into bars or balls and dried. For lotion you simmer herbs etc into a neutral lotion you buy. I would have rather had a good recipe for a lotion bar using oil infused with herbs.The last thing that got me was the hole in the book ... for hanging I think...
