TeNS Pain Relief Pen - Acupoint

I've used an acupuncture pen for years so I was already familiar with the advantages of do it yourself acupuncture without needles. This unit was a replacement for my tired old unit. Finding the acupuncture points can be a bit frustrating as you have to get the sensitivity dial right which depends on how much moisture is on the surface of your skin. It takes a bit of practice, but the benefits are well worth the effort. The handbook is very usefull and explains the procedures to follow, there is even a section on the Acupoint Advance fitted with a tonify button which you can ignore as it doesn't apply to this model. I particularly like the interchangeable probe for the ear point. As for the hand book I found the ring spine, although adequate, a bit to small for my liking so I replaced it with a larger one. Over all very pleased with the unit, good value for money.

Found it very awkward to use and am very disappointed. I think it would suit a professional but not a novice who just wanted some paint relief at home.

Read the directions ,then start using as you may find not as you expected, but so releiving after your first encounter.My wife was the first to try it on me and I found it quite strange at first, but the penitration it gave soon eased the pain away and left be feeling good.(what Pain) It works very well , and having it just before bedtime is good as you relax and sleep with out the pain.A definate recommendation to releive the pain, treat your self I did, and I feel happy.Regards R.King

Been using it for some time now for pain relief - very good I would recommend buying a book on the subject that you are going to use for.
