Love the large size.The pressure shaker weight needed added weight to reach 12lbs of pressure.Other than that,great purchase.I canned 11 Quarts of green beans in 2separate uses in one day,flawlessly.Love my new canner!

This is a very popular and commonly used pressure canner, but when I began using this particular one, I could never get the pressure to go above 8 pounds. You need at least 11 pounds and sometimes 15 pounds in order to can properly. The unit had no leaks and seemed very stable and very secure so that might have meant that the pressure gauge was not functioning properly. Being that this was a brand-new piece of equipment, I did want to deal with troubleshooting this problem anymore so I sent it back for a refund. I'm sure these are fine counters as they are everywhere, but my experience with this particular one was not a good one. I and up splurging and buying the All-American

It works, but the handle was broken when it arrived.

I bought this for my daughter's Birthday.After her first time of using it.I received a 30 minute long phone call about how great this pressure is.Worth the extra money spent on it.

Did not like the fact that it only had one wait for 1,000 feet above sea level I am below 1,000 ft at 325 ft I need a 10 lb weight not a 15 lb I had to find a weight from one of my other ones and file the spout down on top of the damn pressure canner to get the other weight to fit other than that it works good now after I rebuilt it to make it work the way it was supposed to

The media could not be loaded.  Don’t buy this. Seller has updated the listing, but pictures showed a gage that goes to 20 psi and DANGER after that. This barely hits 8.5 and the valve starts spinning wildly spraying hot water and steam. Lame and a waste of money. I need to reach 15. Does not even come with a rack.
