Looks great and very easy to read. Well made and seems accurate enough. Like the fact you can see a scale and digital format. Study plastic and nice roof for waterproof.

I've had one of these for five years and I use it for monitoring the central heating. I indulged in three more recently to replace older analogue thermometers, and so I have these in the hall adjacent to the central heating thermostat, and in the bedroom, kitchen and office. (Other gadgets incorporating clocks and thermometers lurk in the bathroom and lounge.)These thermometers show a red bar for each degree Celsius (so the 20C bar displays from 19.5 degrees to 20.4 degrees), and register one-tenth degree in the Maximun/Minimum display. The temperature scales display in black, Celsius to the left and Farenheit to the right. If memory serves, the batteries are good for about three years. The rain hat can be popped off with the clips to the rear, if you wish. The case is sealed with six screws in the back.If ETI made them available in white, they'd get five stars; it's not just gardeners who need good thermometers.

A good size maximum and minimum thermometer designed for greenhouse use. Good display, and is easy to use. Appears to be very accurate with resetting is a simple push button. Battery replacement requires a number of screws to be removed to gain access to battery compartment, but should ensure the device is waterproof. Battery life is estimated at 2 years. A well made a robust product.

I already had a max min thermometer in my greenhouse but always found it very difficult to read in just about any light conditions.This one is quite the opposite as the max/min readings can be seen at a glance and the current reading is clear too.Also this thermometer appears to be very sturdy and well made so should last a long time.It's reasonably priced as well so represents value for money.Highly recommended.

Great little unit to replace an old one in my greenhouse. great to be able to keep an eye out for frost and overheating when growing season. easy to read

It works OK but the red is not the easiest to read. The scale is made for the world, but for the UK, a range of -20 to 45 would be adequate and the figures more clear to read.

Purchased this for use in the greenhouse.I have it correctly shielded from direct sunlight and it is reasonably accurate when compared to other thermometers. My only gripe is it could be easier to read but apart from that it is good value for money.
