For the price it’s quite sturdy and does the work, easy to store.

I was looking to get this for my gymnastic enthusiast daughter for a long time. But I have to say that I am very disappointed. The price was quite high, but the quality doesn’t match the price. It is extremely lightweight and quite slippery material. When making a cartwheel on the beam the center part, which has the fold, lifts up making it very difficult. Also the foam is quite soft. It does not give a stable hold. Worst is actually that it is not slip proof and too soft! Would not recommend spending such a high price for this item. Rather spend a little more and get a better one!For me the good reviews here do not reflect the actual product.

This balance beam is easy enough to use that my 7 year old daughter can move it from room to room and unfold it herself.She hasn’t had any complaints about it this far, and the colour matched the photos.It is light weight and durable.She has taught herself to do cartwheels on the beam and feels more confident on the beam.She will be returning to gymnastics class shortly, and believes that her coach will be proud of her with her improved beam skills from the summer.

This beam is light weight making it easy to move around which is great, but it slips quite easily. It would be nice if it had a non slip surface on the bottom.
