I got these controller grips for my Quest 3, and they’ve made a huge difference in comfort and grip. The silicone material feels great, way better than the standard controllers, and the knuckle straps keep them secure, so I don’t have to grip as tightly during gameplay.Installation was quick and easy, and they don’t interfere with tracking at all. Also you don’t have to remove them to change the batteries, which is super convenient. The little battery compartment door makes swapping them out really simple.Overall, these grips are a great upgrade. They make the controllers way more comfortable, and the extra security from the straps means I don’t have to worry about dropping them mid-game. If you play VR a lot, definitely worth picking up.

Better to hold with the hand straps than what the controllers are shipped with. Slightly tricky to get the batteries in and out at first, until you get used to it.

These grips were a mustI am loving my quest 3, but really needed more grip on the controllers. Purchased a few cheaper versions of the official meta straps - that are just basically battery cover replacements with straps. But none of them fit perfectly.Really frustrating and had to return them. Looked into silicone covers as sometimes when I hold the controller, I can feel the battery cover move. These Kiwi covers solve that and I comfy and really increase the grip. Very impressed with the quality, thoroughly recommend.

I was a little unsure regarding these controllers but decided to give them a try, I am glad that we did.Please see the photos that I have included.They arrived well boxed, with detailed instructions on how to fit. The yare supplied with several spare battery tags, Ill come to that part later.Firstly you need to remove the original battery compartment and I also removed the corded attachments, I suppose you could leave those if you wishes.As noted in the photos each part is labelled with a "R" or "L" for Right and Left. Fitting of the replacement battery doors / covers is easy, they click into place.Carefully sliding each of the units into the main cover grip, see photo, is simple enough. The top lip of each cover sliding over the top of the controller. It makes sense once doing it.Back to the battery cover and tags....This is, potentially, the only weak point, and that isn't a major concern. The tags are attached towards the base of each battery. That means when you pull on the tag the force of the pull will directly be placed at the point of the greatest resistance where the battery is located.If the tag had been placed in the middle, that might have been more helpful, it cannot be moved.I tired, to see what it is like, how easy it is to remove a battery. It is not easy if you only rely on the tags. BUT if you open the battery door, pull on the tag, whilst held turned over and then shake the battery out.....It eventually comes away.I am reducing the overall review by one star as I do feel that that process could have been made a little easier, but recognise half the issue is how Meta designed the replacement of the battery in the first place.Just take your time when needing to replace the battery.Overall these are very much recommended. The comfort and grip is superb, the controllers feel very comfortable and easy to hold when in use. The straps are easy to adjustA very minor quibble, the "Meta" keys are a little more difficult to get to due to how these controllers are now being held in your hand compared to using them with no hand straps. Very minor issue tho.No issues at all with sensor tracking or responsiveness.So, as noted, very much recommended, just accept that battery changing is never going to be straight forward. But not too difficult either. Two years advertised warranty also.I will update this review over time if there are wear issues associated with their use. I do hope this has helped you.

Easy to fit. They provide that extra security that your controllers aren't going to fly out of your hands. The material and manufacturing standards are of s high quality.

Fits perfectly I have big hands and I love the feel of the texture. This would be good for someone with autism the texture is nice in the fingers lmao

These make sure that the hand controls cannot be flung across the room no more broken TVs mirrors or dents on the walls ! Meta quest should have put a pair of these covers on their hand controls in the first place .

Functional - good fit and feelPractical - average (dock station compatibility)Overall - frustrating.The grips fit well and feel comfortable to use. They do what they say on the tin; however, it’s difficult to see beyond the practical issue that this doesn’t seem to have been made to integrate with the official docking station.I now can’t use the rechargeable batteries that came with my official docking station and can’t seem to get the controllers to sit comfortably on it at all.Compatibility with docking stations is a fundamental and functional point that I believe should be highlighted more clearly in the product description - hopefully I’m not just doing something wrong, but I’ve tried multiple times to make it work.
