Nintendo Handheld Console 3DS - Ice White Bundle with Super Mario 3D Land

Delivery:It arrived promptly, well packaged and undamaged.*****In the box:Nintendo 3DS Ice White, Super Mario 3D Land, 3DS Cradle (for charging) and Power Cable.(Also comes with a slip of white foam for protecting the screens - some users have complained of lines appearing in the glass, this prevents it, and I've had no problems with it.)*****The Product:is beautifully made and features corrections in the build quality (I believe) that have sorted out the wobbly hinge. This is no longer an issue. The faces have a tendency to collect fingerprints, but it's nothing a soft cloth can't solve. If you're worried about the screen being too small and the graphics bad, don't fret: the upper screen (game screen) is easily large enough - even for games such as Mario Kart 7 which have long fields of vision and lots happening (the classic Mario Kart chaos!) The graphics are crisp and the pixels only noticeable at end-of-your-nose distance.*****3D:Taking the advice of reviews and discussions online, I am still working on the 3D. It is advisable to begin without it and then progressively turn it up over the course of a week or so. I have had the console for a couple of days and still only use the 3D at the lower end of the scale. On the first night, I had a mild headache, but no migraine like some users have claimed. I think, if you take your time with the 3D, your eyes adjust and you can cope with it easily. Using the full 3D makes me feel a little odd, so I tend not to. It is, however, very helpful for 3D Land, because it can otherwise be hard to judge your position (i.e. what are you going to land on etc.) The 'sweet-spot' problem is not a problem, as it isn't necessary to move the 3DS much during gameplay and you quickly learn to hold the sweet-spot in sight.**** (loses a star, only because it takes time to acclimatise to.)Super Mario 3D Land:Superb. Fantastic. Enjoyable. Addictive. A truly well thought out game and varied.*****I have Mario Kart 7 which I strongly reccomend to any, especially those who are fans of Mario Kart Wii - MK7 is better. There are gliders and underwater sections and dinosaurs! Well worth 30 quid.*****Rayman 3D I bought, because I loved the original (Rayman 2) and this game ticks all the same boxes. It doesn't compare to the Mario games, but then again, what can?****Finally, Battery Life:This has received much criticism. I'm not sure why. Do people expect a thing that fits snugly (and comfortably) in the palm of your hand to be on Wi-Fi, 3D and full volume and still maintain days of battery life? With Wi-Fi and 3D off and the sound down low, this thing will go for hours. With Wi-Fi, 3D and full volume, it will be dead after three or four hours. After three to four hours of playing on a games console, my head will start to hurt (3D or no) and this seems like plenty of time to me. Enough for a train journey, a flight to the continent, lunch at you grandma's :)**** (loses a star for not being infinite!)OVERALL:*****100%10/10Expect crisp graphics, stunning 3D, ergonomic comfort, amazing games and beauty.Don't expect disappointment.

3DSWell hello im 17 and i still enjoy playing on this.. it is great and i believe it is wortht the money.First of all the 3d effect is amazing i personally didnt think that it would be that good but i was wrong.Next the 3ds is the perfect size it fits your hand perfectly and it also has the analogue feature which adds to a nice finish as it makes gaming more simple! :)What i also like is that this DS is compatible with WPA internet security (i know so were some of the other ds's but the games are WPA compatible which is much better as more people have WPA security than the WEP).Some games i recommend for this game for the graphics and story line is:Need for speed the runKid Icuras uprising(AMAZING graphics and story line)Nintendog ( im a boy and i still love this game)Thanks for reading my review it is my first review ive ever made so it wont be as good as the others but theres a first time to everything :)

I was torn between getting a new Vita or the 3ds - but after a quick discussion with my 5 year old, the decision was clear - it had to be a 3ds. I was impressed with the advances since the DS (we didn't get a DSi) and my daughter is delighted with the games - Moshi Monsters, Mario Kart and Supermario 3D.Thanks Amazon, and Nintendo!

This product arrives without the original box - but all the components in excellent condition. If you have had experience with any other handheld nintendo consoles, especially the DS, this is very easy to use. The battery life is very low, only around 2 or 3 hours. You can extend this buy turning the screen brightness and 3D down very low, but as the whole point is to see things in 3D, this does seem a little irritating.The game that comes with it, Super Mario 3D Land, is a great introduction to many of the possibilities that the 3DS offers. It is a platformer game, crossed with a puzzle solving game. Many of the puzzles require the use of 3D, which is very entertaining.

Lovely

The product stopped functioning. When returned to them they had no more product in inventory. They have refunded the purchase price but that did nothing to alter the disappointment my grand daughter suffered. She weep when it did not work. This was something she had requested for over a year. Why anyone would sell an expensive, non working item is beyond me.

On my old PSP my favorite case color was Pearl White and this Ice White for my 3DS is similairly beautiful. I find that White doesn't show up smudges anywhere as badly as black cases do. The 3D effect is impressive though my eyes freak out after a short time so I usually turn off 3D and only put it back on when a game explicitly needs it. Battery life isn't brilliant though I extend it by turning down the brightness and disbaling as many background processes as I can. Super Mario 3D Land is great as is Resident Evil Revelations which is quite scarey (eek!) You can also rent games rather tha buy them to save some money.

I was Astounded by this purchase as you are able to get the console AND the game for the price of the console, well worth the money and the 3DS system has come on in leaps and bounds when compared to the standard DS. the game itself was thoroughly enjoyable although a few levels were a bit tricksy but that's to be expected and they were still doable.Well worth it, i was hesitant in the beginning but am so glad i bought it, especially with some games now only being release on 3DS.
