Hello! The reason I purchased the Terro Outdoor Liquid Ant Baits was because there was an ant infestation in two 1/2 wine tubs on my patio that were about twenty-feet apart. I put one TERRO ANT BAIT container in each tub on the surface of the soil. In a very short time, there was no sign of ants anywhere in any of the 27 other tubs on my patio. I would guess in less than a week's time! I am very pleased with this very easy to us product...VERY CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS ARE IN THE PACKAGING.
