Great fit
The canner gasket fit perfectly. I am very pleased to still be able to get the parts for my Grandmother’s canner. As long as the parts are available the canner works perfectly.

Finding Parts for old Pressure Canner
Recently I found my mother's old 21-quart Sears and Robuck Pressure Canner. It needed several parts to include the seal, pressure valve and pressure gauge. It didn't have a model number stamped on it; however, it was made by Presto. After extensive searching I came up with a model number and replacement seal size. There were several seals to choose from, with the original manufacture being my choose. It took some time to place it in the lid even per the instructions. Once in place, the locking mechanism with the new seal works fine. I gave the canner to my daughter-in-law for her to use this upcoming summer. Not able to review the seal performance at this time. All of the part came in a timely manner. All fit perfectly. I never would have found these parts by going to a hardware or big box store. Believe me, I tried. Fits, helps seal the canner
Only problem is it takes time putting the seal in. It's good quality.

Great product
I inherited my gma’s old pressure canners that hadn’t been used in years! I purchase this set to replace the old brittle rings. They work great, now I’m using the canner to make all kinds of yummy jars!

Worked
These seem too big at first because when almost completely installed there is a bit of a bulge that seems like it won't fit but the ring seems to be pre-lubed and you can make the bulging part smaller by sliding the ring back in both directions toward the starting point with your thumbs and if you grasp the bulge with your fingertips and bend it 45 degrees the outer edge of the ring can be inserted in the last bit of groove. Once you get to the last bit of bulge you can twist slightly and angled toward the groove then it goes into place with surprising ease. I have a 1970's 21 quart Presto MOD# 01/CA21H2275 also marked (409) in harvest gold color and the #09907 ring/seal fit perfectly. Since my canner is an older model it has developed a 'roughness' in the groove that retains the silicone ring. I assume that it is mostly water solids and perhaps a bit of corrosion on the aluminum base metal of the pot probably caused by me not allowing the ring to dry before storage. To aid ring installation you might very lightly polish the grove with fine wet/dry sandpaper or a 3-M scour pad using a appropriately thin wooden stick (maybe a pop-sickle stick) to hold the pad or paper in place while cleaning out the groove, be careful not to gouge or otherwise mar the groove surface which would prevent sealing.
