Golden Eagle Original Syrup: 2 pack of 15 Fl Oz Jars

Always loved this syrup growing up in the south. Seems it was on every table. Still tastes great but the price is beyond unreasonable. Still less than $3 each at stores in the south. $27 for 2 jars is insane and I won't buy it. I contacted the manufacturer about this high charge but was ignored.

I love the suryp but I don’t know if this is the first shipment or the2nd if it was the first it was damaged and the second one of the jars lid was NOT TIGHTENED DOWN AND SOME SURYP LEAKED OUT VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE SERVICE but the suryp itself is very good.

This is the best for making pecan pies. It's hard to find. Was so happy to find it on Amazon.

I call this 'Table Syrup 'it has wonderful taste ÷ I think it tastes like butterscotch. Anyway if you have someone who likes honey ok r jelly or molasses I think this would be a great Christmas gift.

Growing up with a family from Alabama, I was introduced to Golden Eagle syrup at an early age. Every time someone went south to visit family, jars of this golden nectar were brought north for us to enjoy. After graduating college, I even has an aunt ship me some when I asked.I moved to the southeast US and had hoped to find it in one of my local groceries. But no luck! So I was very happy when I saw I could order it from Amazon.

I got the product in a reasonable amount of time. The 2 jars were packed well in bubble wrap. Unfortunately, they were both very sticky, must have leaked a little bit. One jar had a lot of residue on the jar. I had to wrap them in plastic wrap before I stored them.

I used to have to depend on a friend to travel to Alabama to bring me back some. Now I can order it myself. I like the flavor as it is mild and not too sweet. Plus there is no high fructose corn syrup. Good stuff, Maynard.
