Powerful Steamer with Pro Results—Just Add a Stand for Ease!
I’m thoroughly impressed with the Conair Turbo ExtremeSteam 1875W handheld steamer! It delivers a strong, consistent flow of steam that effortlessly smooths out wrinkles from various fabrics. The built-in creaser is a fantastic feature for achieving crisp pleats and folds, and the multiple steam settings provide versatility for different materials .However, given its weight and size, I found that using it for extended periods can be a bit tiring. To enhance the experience, I highly recommend investing in a garment steamer stand and some fabric weights. These additions help keep garments taut and at the right height, making the steaming process much more comfortable and efficient.Overall, this steamer delivers professional-quality results and is a valuable addition. With the right setup, it becomes even more user-friendly, especially for those who frequently steam multiple garments. Highly recommended!

Great steamer
Our old steamer broke so we were looking for a new one that could get here quickly ahead of an event we were attending. This one works well and has removed wrinkles that our previous steamer would have struggled to remove. The water capacity is smaller but it works well for our needs. The downside is it is a bit larger than some steamers so it does take up more space in a suitcase, but I don’t think we will have issues traveling with it.

Not as good as an actual iron or dry cleaners but excellent for "I made an effort" casual
This steamer won't create a freshly ironed/straight from the dry cleaner 100% wrinkle free effect, but does an excellent job for day to day, 'I made an effort' look.It depends on the fabric...I ordered this for next day delivery after I realized a shirt (synthetic fibers) I wanted to wear to an event the next night had fallen off the hanger and had been sitting and gathering wrinkles. Usually I wash on gentle in a garment bag, and if I hang it to dry immediately, gravity takes the wrinkles out. I didn't have enough time to do this and still have time for it to dry completely. For a lightweight poly/cotton blend, the steamer did take out every single wrinkle. While it was hot, I tried it on another lightweight 100% cotton shirt I usually dry clean, and it took out 'most' of the wrinkles, or took it to from a point of not wanting to be seen in public with it, to it being acceptable (kind of the same state as though it had been ironed, but had been worn for a few hours).I then tried it on a pretty thickly woven 100% linen tunic that I usually dry clean but had tried to wash and hang by hand to save money. Before I got the steamer, I was about to resort to taking it to the dry cleaners, but.... the steamer did struggle a bit, but after several minutes it did become 'has been worn for a few hours' wrinkly vs creased all over with wrinkles. If I had spent a lot more time and used more finesse with it, I likely might have been able to get all the wrinkles out, but I decided this one may be one to just keep taking to the cleaner. In sum, for some synthetics or synthetic blends, it's great. For more naturally prone to wrinkle fibers, it is great for a more casual and presentable, 'I didn't just pulled this off of the floor' look.I wouldn't count on it for a more formal or crisp look for say, job interviews. Plan ahead and drag out the ironing board or take it to a dry cleaners instead. HHowever, If you are like me and can't stand ironing or, if you don't want to continue to spend an arm and a leg at the dry cleaner for less formal wear that could really be washed on gentle cycles and hung to dry and be fine with a quick but not perfectly crisp de-wrinkling, this is a great investment.Aside, it does heat up pretty quickly. If you give it a good couple of minutes rather than the 40 seconds the instructions say, it will be more effective. The whole to fill up the water is a bit small and awkward, but do-able with a little creativity.I didn't have distilled water on hand, but tap water in my area isn't that hard, so I'm not going to bother with buying jugs of distilled water from the store. If you are constantly struggling with lime and calcium residue in your bathroom, ya, I'd get distilled water, but if your build up is very minimal... up to you.

Doesn't work very well
This steamer is very difficult to use. I know I am not overfilling it because I am using the guidelines on the steamer, Yet it starts to bubble over and it just pours hot water out all over whatever i am steaming.I even have had to use a towel to soak up all the water on the floor. The first time it happened.I was very lucky that I did not get burned by hot water. Honestly I gave up and got the iron out.

Great clothing steamer.....too big for suitcases.
Love this steamer. Bought it for travel, didn't realize it's the size of a smart car. Decided to keep this one home because it works really well and is way more convenient for dr-wrinkling clothes smushed in a small closet (perhaps it's not the closet size, but that I have too many clothes....says my husband) and bought a smaller one for travel. It has a really long cord, lots of steam, makes creases in shirt sleeves with ease, and the design is ergonomic. It's NOT portable unless you are driving a car to your destination. I would need another carry on to haul on airplane.

Heavy monster, not worth it to me
So, this thing works well steam-wise. It also has a silicon fitting that helps to smooth out the fabric while steaming to aid in removing wrinkles. However, see photo of my leg. People weren't kidding when they said it was giant! It's almost the length of my lower leg (I'm 5'2). It's very heavy and if you have to hold it above your head for a hanging garment, your arms will be exhausted. I think I am going to return it to get a lighter one. It depends on your priorities though, if you want the multiple levels of steam settings and the head fittings. However the water reservoir is awful. It has a hole to fill it that is smaller than a dime. I also don't like how the main front steam still comes out if you want to use the crease line feature - burn hazard. Also, the buttons are on the same side as the steam so I feel like another hazard if you forget it's on and look at it.
