My wife's tailgate would not stay open....these work well...makes it kinda hard to push down, but now I do not have to worry about the gate falling.

Good but a workout
Very easy to change and works good with lifting but whoooohhh it’s an arm workout closing. I can see that being an issue or annoyance down the road. 4/5 stars highly recommend

Too Stiff. Makes closing the liftgate difficult.
Easy installation, but these struts are WAY harder to work than the original equipment. Have to use both hands and use your body weight to get the door closed. Going to have to buy a different set and throw these in the trash.
