PSU to motherboard
Worked for my PSU connection to the motherboard. Saved my build!

Works with 2 - 4 port connectors running into 8 ports of the extender
Product work great. First I tried the 8 port connection of the power supply cable to the 8 port cable extender that then splits. My PC would not power on. My power module also had two 4 port connectors that I used instead to connect to the 8 port connector of the split. Everything is working great. I saw another review had mentioned it did not power on one of the ports that split. For me have the power adapter with the two 4 ports worked as power is supplied to each of the 4 port connector that then seems to send the power correctly to the split end of the connectors. Hopefully this helps someone if they run into the issue.

Not sure I needed it but it bridged a gap in my system.
I built my own PC 10 years ago and didn’t use one of these initially. I brought it to a system builder and he also didn’t install one of these. I think it made a difference so I am endorsing it. Modern motherboards are power hungry.

Fits well, works as needed
On with a snap, a snug fit -- just as I needed. New power supply lacked the 4 prong connector for the motherboard to juice-up. This solved the problem perfectly. The pack came with two; only needed one. Isn't it fully that most things are sold this way?

Essential for Older PSU with New Motherboards
I built a rig to use a mix of new and used parts for sale, and had a used motherboard with a dual 8-pin connection and an inexpensive but good PSU that has only a single 8-pin connector that was also a bit short for the mid-tower case, preventing my preferred cable routing. So this adapter was MUCH cheaper than a more expensive PSU or smaller case. The new motherboard did boot with only one 8-pin connector, but two is obviously preferred. It took literally a few minutes to install, solving both the connector and the cable routing problem. Plus it is a two-pack, so I have a spare for future use.
