Looks great, quality build
I would say this is a thick weave and I appreciate that. It. It is sturdy, the weave is tight so it blocks direct light from the side. Looks very nice. It is heavier than a traditional lamp shade, but it is sturdy.

Lacking in quality for the price
The shade is sturdy and fit my lamp perfectly however the craftwork was lacking. The weaving was not perfect, some cracks of light filter through in an inconsistent pattern. Tucks at the ends were a little choppy and tiny bits of the metal frame peeks through. The natural material itself is a little dried out looking. For the expensive price I feel I should return this shade. However it is exactly the style I wanted.

Perfect

Woven grass lampshade
Love this lampshade. The type and shape/ size is so much better than previous shade. Very pleased with purchase.

Sizing
Beware, I ordered a 16 inch width shade.I received a barley 14 inch width shade, suspicious as there is a price difference. The sea grass braid is not as tightened as depicted. It is however, organically lovely. I resent that I have to return it in order to receive a price adjustment.
